SOIL TESTING AT THE PLANT SALE
This year we will have soil testing for pH by a Master Gardener.
pH is a measure of the acidity in your soil. Collect 1 cup of dry soil
& place it in a plastic bag or cup labeled with your name and specify
where the soil is from: vegetable, flower, lawn or shrub. Our on site test,
results ready in 15 minutes, will suggest whether you need to add any
lime or sulfur to correct your pH imbalance. Cost is $2.00 per bag.

West Springfield Garden Club is a volunteer organization established in 1963 to advance the knowledge and enjoyment of gardening. We aid in the beautification of West Springfield, and help to protect and conserve its natural resources.
Membership is open to everyone. You do not have to be a resident of West Springfield to become a member of the Garden Club.
