Scholarship

The West Springfield Garden Club has two $1,000 scholarships that are available to qualifying West Springfield high school senior students OR a West Springfield resident who is an enrolled student in good standing at an accredited institution of higher education. Scholarships are available for students with a focus of study in one or more of the following areas: Horticulture, Agriculture, Ecology, Botany, Environmental Studies, Landscape Design or Forestry.

To Brendan Moore a West Springfield Graduating Senior for winning the 2024 WSGC $1,000 scholarship.

Interested in making the most impact on environmental science, Brendan will be majoring in marine biology at Roger Williams University. He is passionate about this field of study and credits his parents with whom he visited aquariums, zoos and hatcheries. The West Springfield Garden Club is proud to support him in his endeavors.
