Today, with an intimate group, we dedicated the 9/11 Garden surrounding the eternal flame. This meaningful space was made possible through the vision of Mayor Reichelt, the support of the West Springfield Cultural Council, and the dedication and care of the West Springfield Garden Club–from design to ongoing upkeep. The all-white garden, a symbol of purity and remembrance, also serves as a moon garden–radiating light in the darkness. We hope it offers peace and reflection as we honor those we have lost.
